Tuesday October 7th

Our bi-monthly meeting will be held at

Felicita Park

The meeting will also be a walk and a picnic (BBQ)

We will meet at 10:30 AM in the overflow parking area for carpooling and directions.  If you prefer, you can drive directly to the park and meet us there

Directions to the park: 

Take 78 east to I-15 south, take exit #29 (the third exit on I-15 south, Felicita Rd), turn left then make an immediate right onto Felicita Road.  Follow signs to the park.

When inside the park, take the left fork to Picnic Area #7, park nearby.  Click here for maps

The park is in a dense oak forest with a relatively flat trail which follows a creek for part of the way then extends through the rest of the park.  The entire trail is about one and one half miles and is broken up into sections such that one or all parts of it can be walked.

If you are attending, please call Ed Gunderson (631-1625) or Betty Kaufman (726-5575) before September 30, 2008, tell them what you would like to eat so that we can get an accurate count.

Choices are:  Hamburger, Hot Dog (or both).

Bring your own drinks and a few extra dollars for the "Opportunity Drawing"
